No, this has nothing to do with video games. My parents just recently brewed their own limoncello after tasting it in Italy. I don't really like the stuff myself, so I didn't try it. But it sounds like they thought it turned out good.
Unfortunately, it seems my dog Daisy has been losing her sight as of recently. While prescription drops seems to have improved her vision, her eyes were still cloudy. She was diagnosed with cataracts, and this week she was given surgery.
For the next month or so, she's gonna have to wear one of those cones ("Elizabethian collar", they called it), and she's not gonna be able to take long walks or play rough with her toys: two things she loves to do. She's also gonna have to keep getting eye drops and be given medicine she hates. These next several weeks are gonna be torture for her! D=

With a new Paper Mario game coming out this summer, and seeing all the other perks its host console comes with--3D photo/movie shooting, drawing messaging, and Netflix streaming among them--and the fact that I came across a relatively pretty good deal for a used one on Amazon... I have purchased something called a Nintendo 3DS.
I think I've gotten the hang of all it can do in the past few weeks. If anyone wants to be 3DS buddies with me, we can exchange friend codes, and you may occasionally get Swapnotes from me. ![]()
Paper Mario 3DS is quite a few months away, but I've currently rented an older handheld game from Paper Mario's sister series, Mario & Luigi, called Partners in Time. Would've started with Superstar Saga, since it's the first game of that series, but the few games of its platform released are only for people called "ambassadors", and it's not even one of them.
I'd like to take this moment to advertise a few sites. First is for the web site for the comic by *mrsaturn123 called sChIzO. And for a comic about a schizofrantic young anthro cat woman, it's quite funny and endearing (albeit tearjerking sometimes) with a lovable cast of characters. The comic's main site can be located at schizo-comic.com.
The other site I'd like to plug is a forum owned by an old friend of mine that's pretty much for general discussion but mainly centered around play-by-post roleplaying. If you have a host of characters for an original setting or you want to play the roles of existing franchise characacters in their licensed settings, there's a board for either of those. We're willing to extend a warm welcome and any help to any newcomers as long as they follow the rules, and registration is currently open if you want to join. The site is located at z9.invisionfree.com/Roles_You_Play.
Still trying to do this. I prefer PayPal (I'll tell you via note what my e-mail address is), but if you must pay by check, I suppose I could also note you my s-mail address. Check out my gallery to get a general sense of what I draw. Also, please only request images with either your characters or my characters unless you have written permission from whomever else owns the characters in said commission request. I can't afford a lawyer...
I've based my prices on what I've seen other people do (I threw in the extra on the background thing, 'cause backgrounds are no fun
).
- Uncolored sketch of one character - $5 (+2 per extra character)
- Colored sketch of one character - $10 (+2 per extra character, and +2 if you want a decent background other than the generic grass-and sky)
Please note I will not draw any mature or squeamish content. I'll start as soon as I receive payment, and I will e-mail you the start sketch to see if you like where I'm going with it. If you like it (and don't mind me showing people), I'll post it in my scraps. If you wish to post up your own modified version (i.e. you colored a black and white commish I sold you), please post it in your own scraps rather than your main gallery and be sure to link to my version. ![]()
