This past weekend, my parents decided to take me on a trip to Hershey, PA and Gettysburg, PA. We stayed at a time-share Hershey hotel. Before we got there, we visited Chocolate World and took the tour that explained how the milk chocolate was made, getting that song stuck in our heads.

After we were settled in our room, we went to the nearby Hershey Park and rode on a few of the rides. Sunday, we visited Gettysburg where we saw a film on the battle and then saw this massave, round-the-room painting that seemed to blend into the room and the props around themselves.

While in Chocolate World, my Aunt Peggy bought me a brown t-shirt with Hershey's on it; she said it was my birthday present. Then, while in Hershey Park, I bought a cap with "Hershey Park" and the Hershey town main characters, the Hershey bar, the Reese's cup, and the Hershey kiss, on it. While at Gettysburg, I got a Gettysburg keychain along with a Gettysburg milk choclate bar for me and dark chocolate for my mother.

On our way back from Gettysburg, we went to a gas station's grocery store within Hershey town and bought vanilla ice cream and a jar of Hershey's hot fudge. We then had it for dessert at the hotel. Since the ice cream could not last if we tried taking it home, we were "fored" to eat the rest of it with our cereal the next morning. We then visited Hershey gardens and the Hershey Dairy Historical Society (my dad's a history and geneology buff) before returning home.

I had a fairly decent birthday. My dad renewed my deviantART subscription, and I mostly got s'mores incredients and Best Buy gift cards in my birthday presents at my party. We had sausage and pepperoni pizza for supper and Recess Dairy Queen Blizzard cake for dessert. Towards the end, a handful of guests and I played Clue Master Detective
